Our Track Turquoise Rolls are the perfect finishing touch on these fabulous platform beds.

Lords South Beach Hotel, Miami Beach

Our Track Turquoise Rolls are the perfect finishing touch on these fabulous platform beds.
Our Track Turquoise bolsters pop on the white and yellow platform beds.

The Lords South Beach Hotel stands out on Miami Beach with it’s bright yellow stripes and radiant pops of blue. It was designed by BHDM out of NYC and is marketed as the first gay boutique hotel in the US. Our turquoise and lemon bolster pillows are the perfect fit with its yellow and white theme throughout. If you’re the penthouse-type, you’ll enjoy spectacular views from a private terrace, sitting comfy on our Static Reed pillows.

The bright blues of our Static Reef pillows stand out beautifully against the yellows.

The 9th Annual Guerilla Truck Show

We had another great year at the Guerilla Truck Show, an annual pop-up art and design event put on by Morlen Sinoway. Each year during Design Week, Fulton Market closes down and cargo-trucks park side by side to showcase the work of established and up-and-coming Chicago designers. It’s a fun place to go after long hours spent at NeoCon, one of the largest design trade shows in the country. Here are a few shots by our friend and photographer, Lyra Jakabhazy.

Candle Columns by 2nd Shift featured in The Guardian, UK.

Brits have good taste. Will Taylor, Market Editor for Sweet Paul and The Simple Things magazine, selected our Candle Columns by Ohio-based design atelier, 2nd Shift, to be included in a curated selection of housewares for The Simple Things Magazine. This selection got play in The Guardian on line. Nice! We got a phone order from England right away for a set. Yep! Get ’em before they sell out to the Brits!
